=========== Application ==============
Me: Marcus
Character Name: Antìoch (ì = alt-0236, only way I could keep my name when i xferred from Saurfang)
Class/Level: Lvl 80 Paladin
Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... t%C3%ACoch
(Replace the ' with a %27) <= ummm?
A Short Life Story: 20yo male working my way through uni. Taking a break from the whole education thing at the moment so I can stop relax and see that there actually is a world outside the lecture theatre/laboratory. Play WoW for fun, not to show everyone how great I am at mashing buttons. Enjoy a raid or three or four but work has a nasty habbit of rostering me on raid nights so for now would like to apply for FnF.
Alts: Antìoch*(pally) and Maìa(shammy) are my only lvl 80 toons. Have other alts but dont play them particularly often, most notable of those is Durall(rogue lvl64) which is a blast to play when I find the time.
(Mark your favourite with a *. And why is it your favourite anyway?)
Antì would be my favorite toon, simply as he was my 1st character for max both BC and WotLK, and the only toon I have ever seriously raided with. That coupled with the bonus of being a OP pally means I can cover virtually any role in a raid (still think Blizz should give me a ranged dps option =D), which I have done over the duration of wrath with gear for all three specs to a lvl that I can raid most 3.2content in any spec at the minimum.
Raiding:
Raiding Spec: Holy 52/5/14, currently dual specced prot 7/58/6 but have a respectable dps set too.
Raiding Gear summary + upgrade intentions: With the release of 3.3 and the triumph badge giveaways I've made my return to healing and now have an all but complete 232 set which will only see upgrades for the most part in ICC or ToC25. Prot is slightly behind with ret trailing. So for ret at least I need to plough through some instances to work it up to current content. As for upgrade intentions; everyone like to get new gear, but as long as I can hold my own in current content I'm happy. Never been one to enjopy being carried so I do what I can to "stay with the competition" so to speak.
Raiding Experience: Been raiding since BC where I had a decent look at t6 prior to 3.0 release. In Wrath I have completed all current content (Bar ICC) at the 10man lvl (Bar Algalon and Yogg - seen yogg, just didnt kill) In 25s, Up to mimiron in Uld, Faction champs in ToC and cleared the rest (Bar ICC again).
Last Raid Boss Kill: Ony25 as all 3 specs, Anub'Arak10 as ret and prot.
My History:
Current Guild: Currently Guildless
Reason for leaving current guild: Left my last guild as it was gradually falling apart due to an ever vacant GM and an unreliable set of raiders. It was a choice between being alone online in a guild... and alone online out of a guild.
Previous guilds: Forestsong(Dath), Phalanx(Dath - moved to Saurfang with Wrath), Imminent Destruction(Khaz'Goroth), Disturbed(Saurfang), and back to Forestsong. Over about 3ish years.
The People I know:
References from Fey Mercurial: Exxo, Alurah, Salimarn, Buffpeanut
References from outside Fey Mercurial: Saphirrah (Last GM)
The Random Space:
All said and done, I began playing this game at my brothers suggestion (insistance/threats... its all the same right?) and enjoy playing the game with him and the rest of the family that plays, which is a driving reason for wanting to join Fey, as quite conveniently 3 of the 4 family that play reside within your guild =D.
Thoughts & Feelings about the Guild Charter.
Cant get much better imo (dont mean to brown nose - but you guys have deffinately got the right idea). Doing shiftwork means my roster is never fixed, so I may be able to make every raid one week and none the next. It sucks I know, and is the main reason I havent persued another raid guild since leaving Forestsong. I can usually have a few weeks at a time when I know almost every raid I can make, but rosters have a nasty habbit of changing, and in these instances I endeavor to notify of my changed availabilities.
